Biography
- Clint Williams is currently earning his B.M. with emphasis in Music Composition at Cameron University in Lawton, OK. During this time he has performed with numerous ensembles, serving as Principal Tubist in the Cameron University Concert Band, Jazz Band, Brass Quintet, “Low Tones” Low Brass Ensemble, Tuba/Euphonium Quartet and the “Pick-Axe” Pep Band. He has also performed with the Cameron University Concert Choir, “Cameron Singers” audition choir, “Ad Hoc” Composition ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and the “Pan Express” Steel Pan Band. In the Lawton Community he plays Tuba in the Lawton Community Band and sings Bass in the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Choir. He is a member of ASCAP, Cambridge Who’s Who, Cameron University Student Government, Mu Phi Epsilon (Professional Music), the Lawton (OK) Opera Guild, Oklahoma Composers Association, Pi Kappa Delta (Forensics) and the Society of Composers Incorporated. Clint has over 35 completed works for various ensembles, from piano solo to Classical Orchestra and most in between, in which fifteen have been performed. Throughout his career, Clint has received numerous awards, including Jr. High and High School All-Region Band, School All-Region Choir and many State solo awards. His principle composition teacher is Dr. Gregory Hoepfner.
