Biography

Kenneth Baird is a composer of string orchestra, jazz ensemble, and solo/ensemble music for wind and string performers. A music educator for over 30 years, Kenneth's teaching experience runs the gamut from beginning band and orchestra through college ensembles. Presently, he is the Wind Ensemble and Orchestra Director for Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kenneth Baird holds Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Music Performance (trumpet) degrees from the University of Tulsa and a Master of Science in Fine and Performing Arts from Southern Oregon State College. He has composed numerous works for solo instruments, small ensembles, string orchestras, and jazz ensembles, as well as audition music for district honor bands and orchestras.
