Biography
- I was born on the belly of a sea monster... I also like to write music.
He is a Sophomore Music Composition major at Oklahoma City University, studying composition with Dr. Edward Knight,
organ with Dr. Elizabeth Harrison,
and piano with Dr. Sergio Monteiro.
He wants to write music that glorifies God.
He hopes that you might enjoy his music, too.
His second string quartet has been described by Rob Barnett of Music Web International as "a gritty urgent little assault. It is part Herrmann and part Bartok... insinuatingly mesmerizing..."
"..., a very strong piece...Its obsessive rhythms and repetition of a brief thematic cell call to mind Steve Reich or Terry Riley. This is clearly music with a bigger compositional horizon than might initially seem apparent."
---Lee Passarella of Audiophile Audition
Alexandra Gardner of NewMusicBox, the web magazine for the American Music Center, says of Fantasia, "an exciting, intensely rhythmic roller coaster..."
