Biography

Victoria (Tori) Davison received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Voice-Teaching from Tulane University. After pursuing a successful career in commercial real estate in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, she later felt called by God to return to music.

From 1998-2001, Davison studied music composition with the late Bob Parr who, in turn, had studied under Paul Hindemith. In 2004, the East Central University Chorale premiered three of her choral anthems under the direction of Dr. Steven Walker.

In 2005, Tori Davison and Rudy Lupinski, music director at St. Joseph Catholic Church and adjunct professor at East Central University, formed a musical partnership in which Davison provides the opus and the voices and Lupinski provides the accompaniment and arrangement. To date Davison has completed 39 compositions with Lupinski, and they have 26 other works pending at this time.
