Events

The OCA’s ongoing Composer Salon Concert series features music by area composers.  Each concert features three composers.  After each piece, the composer answers audience questions about the work.  The 2008-09 concert series served to highlight the incredible diversity of music being produced in our midst, including academic composers, instrument builders, electroacoustic music, jazz, improvisation, singer-songwriters, church music, children’s music, and more.  There is no style of music-making that is not welcome, and every evening presents a variety.  Norman Salon Concerts are held on saturdays at Sonder Music, Dance & Art (225 E Gray, Norman)

Thank you to everyone for making these concerts great (performers, composers, audiences, Lauren for the use of the space, Trey for his fantastic audio recording and podcasts).  These concerts continue to be standing room only, and the quality of work is consistently fantastic!
